WALLPAPER INSTALLATION
Below you will find summary instructions to help you install your Kobi the Warrior wallpaper on your Apple Watch. For detailed instructions accompanied by helpful pictures, see Craig Lloyd’s article on How-To Geek. You can also refer to Apple's User Guide for Apple Watch and Apple Watch Faces and Features for the official instructions.
Overview
Your Kobi the Warrior wallpaper is stored as a photo or photos in a single synced photo album on your iPhone. A Photos face can then be created on either your Apple Watch or iPhone. This will allow your Kobi the Warrior wallpaper to appear as the face on your Apple Watch.
There are two methods you can use: Method 1 lets you select one or more images for your watch face that don't change using the Create Watch Face feature (in iOS 11). Method 2 adds some flexibility in that it will let you select a photo album on your iPhone to be the source of the watch faces. You can then add and remove images from your album and it will automatically update the watch faces to reflect the changes to that album.
Please Note: Your purchased digital download will come as a zipped file. To save the files directly to your iPhone Photos, you will need an app to unzip the file and save them. There are several free apps like Winzip or iZip available on the App Store that will help you easily do this. If you have downloaded one of our free images, you will not need to unzip.
Method 1
With this method you create the new watch faces on you iPhone with Apple’s Create Watch Face feature.
Step 1 Download your wallpaper from the email you received and save it in Photos on your iPhone. Purchased six-image digital downloads will need to be unzipped, free single image wallpaper will not need to be unzipped before saving.
Step 2 Select the Kobi the Warrior wallpaper photos you want as your new watch face and select the Action button at the bottom left corner of the screen.
Step 3 Choose Create Watch Face. You may have to swipe far to the right to find it. Now you have the option of selecting Photos Watch Face or Kaleidoscope Watch Face. Choose Photos watch face. You can also customize the face, changing the Time position and selecting complications. We recommend setting the Time Position to Bottom. Click ADD to finish. The new face will now be on your watch though it may take a moment to sync. Enjoy!
Method 2
With this method your images are placed in a new photo album on your iPhone so the addition or removal of images will be reflected in the watch faces that appear on your Apple Watch.
Step 1 Download your wallpaper and save in Photos on the iPhone. Purchased digital downloads will need to be unzipped first before saving. Free single images will not need to be unzipped.
Step 2 Create a new photo album for the images. Photos are stored on you Apple Watch from a single synced photo album on your iPhone. To create a new photo album on your iPhone, open Photos and select Albums, then click add (+). This will open a dialogue for you to enter the name of your new album for example, Watch Faces. The system will then prompt you to select photos for the new album. Note you can also place the wallpaper images in an existing photo album that you are already syncing with your Apple Watch.
Step 3 Select the album you just created to be stored/synced with your Apple Watch. In the Apple Watch app on you iPhone, select My Watch, scroll down and select Photos, and then select Synced Album. Choose the new album to be included on your Apple Watch. Next, check to see that the new album has synced with you Apple Watch. You should now be able to see the wallpaper images on your watch in your Apple Watch Photos app, though not yet as the watch face.
Step 4 Create the new watch face. From your Apple Watch, start with the current watch face showing. Now firmly press the display, swipe all the way to the right and select the New button (+), you should see the new Photo, then select Photo. To customize the face, press the face and then select Customize. This will allow you to change the time position by turning the Digital Crown. We recommend setting the Time Position to Bottom for best image display. You can select additional complications like date, weather, and calendar to appear on the watch face by swiping left while still in Customize, tapping on the field and using the Digital Crown to select the complication to display.
Step 5 Once you have finished customizing the watch face, press the Digital Crown to save your changes. Then Tap the watch face to set it as your current face. Enjoy!
